Harvia AC3040 Sauna Stones are natural split-face vulcanite stones designed for compatible electric sauna heaters and as surface-layer stones for wood-burning sauna stoves. Their fine-grained, dark-grey volcanic composition develops a distinctive black appearance when wet, providing a refined natural finish within the sauna heater. The split-face construction provides broad surfaces for water contact while allowing air to circulate between properly stacked stones. The natural vulcanite material is designed to withstand fluctuating sauna temperatures while storing and releasing heat effectively. Each box contains approximately 44.1 lb (20 kg) of stones ranging from 2–4 in (5–10 cm). Because these are natural stones, individual pieces vary in shape, size, texture, and appearance.
