Harvia AC3045 Sauna Stones are split-face vulcanite stones designed for efficient heat storage, airflow, and steam generation in compatible sauna heaters. Their granular dark-grey volcanic composition develops a distinctive black appearance when wet, providing a natural finish within the heater's stone chamber. The split-face construction provides broad surfaces for water contact while allowing air to circulate between properly stacked stones. The 4–6 in (10–15 cm) size is suitable for compatible electric sauna heaters and can also be used as a surface layer in compatible wood-burning sauna stoves. Because these are natural stones, individual pieces vary in shape and size. Proper stone quantity and placement should always follow the requirements of the specific sauna heater.
