The HUUM HIVE Wood 17 is a 17.0 kW wood-burning sauna stove designed for sauna rooms from 283 to 565 cubic feet. Its large floor-standing design combines traditional wood-fired heating with the distinctive open-stone construction of the HIVE series. Constructed from stainless steel, the HIVE Wood 17 features a stainless steel furnace door and a robust 1/5 in thick stainless steel flame tamer. Its substantial stone chamber accommodates up to 287 lb (130 kg) of sauna stones, providing a large heated stone surface around the stove. The HIVE Wood 17 operates with wood fuel and does not require an electric sauna control for heating. A properly designed chimney/flue system is required for operation, with chimney components, installation clearances, ventilation, and fire-protection requirements determined by the current HUUM installation instructions and applicable local codes. Required sauna stones and chimney/flue components are sold separately.
