The HUUM STEEL 9 is a 9.0 kW floor-standing electric sauna heater designed for sauna rooms from 283 to 460 cubic feet. Its slim 12.6 × 12.6 in footprint and reduced-clearance design make it particularly well suited for sauna installations where efficient use of floor space is important. Despite its compact footprint, the STEEL 9 accommodates up to 331 lb of sauna stones. Its open stainless-steel construction places the stones in direct contact with the industrial-quality heating elements, providing substantial thermal mass. HUUM also incorporates an internal air duct that the manufacturer states can provide up to 25% faster heat-up. Designed, engineered, and manufactured in Estonia, the STEEL 9 operates on 240V single-phase power and requires a compatible HUUM UKU control for operation. A compatible HUUM UKU control and 331 lb of sauna stones (10 boxes) are required and sold separately.
